PROHIBITED GOODS AND CONTENTS

Transporters impose transport restrictions and consider certain goods and contents as prohibited. It is important to find out about the laws of the country you are sending your package to avoid problems with customs as well. Import regulations are different in each country and to avoid breaching import laws, it is extremely important to find out about import laws beforehand. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods you are sending comply with the laws of the country to which your package is destined.

We enclose herewith a non-exhaustive list of goods and contents prohibited for shipment. Failure to comply with these prohibitions will result in the destruction of the parcel and its goods without notice from the transporter. Each transporter has a list of goods that are not allowed to be sent, so it is necessary that you systematically check whether your shipment complies with the requirements of the selected transporter.

You can find below some of the types of goods that are not allowed to be shipped:

Alcohol
Tobacco, leaf tobacco products and pre-rolled cigarettes.
All shipments of a sensitive nature are subject to special formalities: arms, medicines, tobacco, asbestos, strategic goods for civil or military use or products of wild animal or plant species protected by the Washington Convention.
Furs
Illegal products such as counterfeit goods and drugs.
Ingots (of any precious metal).
Laptops. No more than one laptop per package.
Each parcel may contain no more than one lithium-ion battery, which must be contained in the laptop.
Lithium batteries: Small electronic items, including mobile phones, containing lithium ion batteries. No more than 2 lithium batteries may be included in each package.

Cash-like negotiable instruments.
Complete, original and dummy firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices.
Air pistols.
Human remains or ashes.
Jewellery, costume jewellery, watches and objects made of precious metal and/or precious stones with a value of over €4,000 per consignment.
Antiques, works of art and fine art with an individual value of over €5,000.
Clinical and/or biological samples (including body fluids and tissue samples).
Lithium batteries: All lithium metal batteries.
All Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Note devices.
All Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Note devices.
Pornography (in print, film or digital form).
Used car parts and engines.

Military equipment.
Dangerous goods, including but not limited to perfumes, aftershaves, aerosols, flammable substances, dry ice and biological substances.
Electronic cigarettes.
Hunting trophies (animals), animal parts such as ivory and shark fins, animal remains or ashes, animal by-products.
Precious and semi-precious stones in bulk (cut or uncut, polished or unpolished).
Cash (legal tender - bank notes, notes, coins) and travellers' cheques.
Lithium batteries: Lithium-ion batteries in bulk. This includes power banks, accumulators, USB chargers, etc.
Items which by their nature or packaging may present a danger to staff, soil or damage other shipments or the carrier's equipment.

In the event that you wish to send this type of merchandise internationally, you will need to contact the transporters so that you can verify the possibility of such a shipment and that, if necessary, you need to initiate a certain number of administrative procedures in order to obtain the appropriate export and import authorisations.

Shipment of feed (including supplements) and materials

With regard to the shipment of foodstuffs (food and/or alcoholic beverages), it should be noted that most countries have their own customs regulations concerning the import of this type of goods.
